Generally, this is caused by the lack of effort in diagnostic analysis that is substituted with willingness to overspend on entire assembly replacements. PCV rubber hoses, belts, pulleys, gaskets & seals, fluids, etc.

Transmission Control Unit (TCU) scan with malfunction report.

External wear & tear inspection:
fluid level, oil leaks, gear slip, etc.

Past accident & signs-of-repair inspection, including coating thickness test report.

Rust checkup: frame, hidden cavities, under-body.

Full circuit report showcasing root cause for all electric issues.

(Air) Suspension

Wear & Tear Inspection of control arms, bushings, shocks, cover boots, airbags, etc.

The most common scenario - car won't start or otherwise something is wrong with engine / transmission / suspension / electric, and the bill for assembly replacement is $X,XXX at minimum.
Almost always, the entire assembly does not fail at once - only 1 component does. By not replacing the entire assembly and by focusing on finding the problem instead, as a customer - one avoids overspending on expensive part margins and extensive labor hours.

With our experience and knowledge we can eliminate the bigger chunk of the total cost by correctly identifying the true culprit of the problem.
